Ingredients
  

Jam Base
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional

Equipment

  • Mixing spoon

Method
 

  1. Add chopped strawberries to a saucepan over medium heat and cook until softened.
  2. Mash strawberries to desired consistency.
  3. Stir in sweetener and lemon juice.
  4. Add chia seeds and mix thoroughly.
  5. Simmer briefly, then remove from heat.
  6. Let cool to thicken, then refrigerate before serving.

Notes

Adjust sweetness based on fruit ripeness. Store refrigerated and consume within one week.
