Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry slightly. Cut into 4 equal squares.
- Mix softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
- Place cream cheese filling in the center of each pastry square. Top with sliced strawberries.
- Fold corners inward to create a border. Brush edges with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Brush with warmed apricot jam or honey if desired. Cool 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use cold pastry for flakiness. Don’t overfill to prevent leaking.
