Mousse Base
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled
  • 1 tsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Blend strawberries and lemon juice until smooth.
  2. Whip cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, whipping until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold strawberry puree into whipped cream.
  5. Spoon into serving cups and serve immediately or chill briefly.
