- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla.

- Roll dough into balls, shape into hearts, and press thumbprint centers.
- Fill centers with jam and bake 12–14 minutes until lightly golden.
