Ingredients
  

Wonton Cups
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Poke Filling
  • 1 lb ahi tuna sushi-grade, diced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp sriracha optional
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Press wonton wrappers into muffin tin and brush with oil.
  3. Bake 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp. Cool completely.
  4. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, sriracha, ginger, and garlic.
  5. Add diced tuna and toss gently. Chill for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Fold in avocado, green onions, and sesame seeds.
  7. Fill wonton cups with poke mixture and garnish as desired.
  8. Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.

Notes

Use only sushi-grade tuna and assemble just before serving to keep wontons crisp.
