Method
- Finely chop cabbage and carrots using a food processor or knife.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, and onion. Pour dressing over and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Stir before serving and enjoy chilled.
Notes
For best results, make at least a few hours ahead so the flavors can meld and the texture softens slightly.
