- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.
- Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and sliced green onions.
- Fold in shredded chicken and 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
- Combine crushed crackers with melted butter in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle cracker mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or steamed broccoli to the filling before baking.
