Hot Dogs
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
Firecracker Sauce
  • 0.25 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Whisk together all firecracker sauce ingredients until smooth.
  3. Cut dough into 8 strips and wrap around each hot dog.
  4. Arrange wrapped hot dogs on baking sheet.
  5. Brush with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush generously with firecracker sauce.
  8. Bake an additional 3–5 minutes.
  9. Garnish and serve warm.

Notes

Adjust the hot sauce amount to customize the spice level. Great for parties, game days, and family dinners.
