Ingredients
  

Waffle Cone Batter
  • 2 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt
Filling
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 kiwi sliced
  • 0.5 cup mango chunks
  • 1 tbsp honey optional
Topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar optional
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Whisk eggs and sugar until pale.
  2. Add butter, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Stir in flour and salt until smooth.
  4. Cook thin rounds on waffle maker until golden.
  5. Shape into cones while warm and cool completely.
  6. Prepare fruit and sweeten lightly if desired.
  7. Whip cream with sugar and vanilla.
  8. Fill cones with fruit and top with cream.

Notes

Fill cones just before serving to keep them crisp.
