Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 300 g lamb or beef cut into chunks
  • 1 cup frika rinsed
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tomatoes grated
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Wooden spoon
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil.
  2. Add meat and brown well.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, and spices.
  4. Add water and chickpeas, simmer 30 minutes.
  5. Add frika and cook until tender.
  6. Finish with fresh herbs and serve hot.

Notes

Adjust thickness by adding water as needed. Can be made with chicken or vegetarian.
