Batter
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking pan.
  2. Mash bananas and mix with melted butter.
  3. Add sugars and mix until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Whisk dry ingredients separately.
  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes and cool before slicing.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and texture.
