Ingredients
  

Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.33 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim Brussels sprouts and slice in half.
  3. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Spread on baking sheet cut-side down in a single layer.
  5. Roast 20–25 minutes until golden and tender, stirring halfway through.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and lemon juice if desired. Toss gently.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding balsamic glaze or toasted pine nuts. Roast evenly spaced for crispiness.
