Ingredients
  

Mac and Cheese
  • 12 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
Garlic Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Season shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp about 2 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Add minced garlic to the shrimp during the last minute of cooking.
  5. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In a saucepan melt butter, whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  7. Slowly whisk in milk and cream until smooth and thickened.
  8. Add cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  9. Mix cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce.
  10. Fold in shrimp and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a pinch of Cajun seasoning.
