Ingredients
  

Burger Mixture
  • 1 lb ground turkey 93% lean
  • 2 cups fresh spinach finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup onion finely diced
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, spinach, garlic, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Form mixture into four evenly sized patties.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
  5. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through to 165°F.
  6. Rest burgers briefly, then serve warm.

Notes

Serve on buns, lettuce wraps, or over salads. Burgers freeze well before cooking.
