Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and fold in chocolate chips.
- Press dough into pan.
- Cook topping ingredients until thick, then stir in coconut and pecans.
- Spread topping and add remaining dough.
- Bake 30–35 minutes and cool before slicing.
Notes
Cool completely before slicing for clean bars.
