Method
- Pat salmon fillets dry and place them into a shallow dish or zip-top bag.
- Whisk together garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, sesame oil, lemon juice, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour marinade over salmon and coat evenly on all sides.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and spoon extra marinade over the top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra caramelization if desired.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
Do not marinate salmon longer than 2 hours to preserve the best texture. Delicious served with rice or roasted vegetables.
