Method
- Cut mozzarella sticks in half and pat dry.
- Prepare flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumb mixture in separate bowls.
- Coat cheese in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, then repeat for double coating.
- Freeze breaded sticks for at least 1 hour.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry sticks 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with marinara sauce.
Notes
Freezing before frying prevents cheese from leaking and ensures perfect texture.
