Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla and salt.
- Add flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan and bake 12–15 minutes.
- Whisk together all caramel filling ingredients until smooth.
- Pour caramel over baked crust and crumble remaining dough on top.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Cool completely, sprinkle with sea salt, slice, and serve.
Notes
Chill before slicing for clean cuts and extra gooey texture.
