Ingredients
  

  • 3 apples cored and sliced
  • 6-8 slices prosciutto thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp honey plus more for drizzling
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Grill or grill pan
  • Tongs
  • Mixing bowl
  • Serving platter

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium heat and lightly oil grates.
  2. Toss apple slices with olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. Grill apples for 2–3 minutes per side until tender with grill marks.
  4. Wrap or layer grilled apples with prosciutto.
  5. Return to grill for 1–2 minutes per side until prosciutto lightly crisps.
  6. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle thyme and black pepper, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture. Excellent with wine or as part of a charcuterie board.
