Ingredients
  

Steak
  • 2 large ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Caprese Topping
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp balsamic glaze

Method
 

  1. Pat steaks dry and rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (450°F).
  3. Grill steaks 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
  4. Let steaks rest on a cutting board for 5–10 minutes.
  5. Arrange mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil on each steak or alongside.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and optional crushed red pepper.
  7. Serve immediately on a platter or individual plates.

Notes

Optional: sprinkle garlic powder on steaks or use a chili-infused balsamic glaze for variation.
