Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and orange coloring until smooth.
- Spread ¾ of brownie batter in pan, top with cheesecake mixture, and swirl remaining brownie batter on top.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
- Cool completely, refrigerate 2 hours, then slice and decorate with candies or sprinkles.
Notes
Use gel coloring for bright orange swirls without thinning the cheesecake layer.
