Method
- Whisk melted butter with both sugars until smooth and glossy.
- Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
- Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until combined.
- Beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth, then tint orange.
- Spread most of brownie batter in a pan, top with spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture and remaining brownie batter, then swirl gently.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes or until set around the edges.
- Cool fully before slicing for clean edges.
Notes
Use gel coloring for the brightest orange. Chill before slicing for best results.
