Ham Salad Base
  • 2.5 cups cooked ham finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 0.25 cup celery finely diced
  • 2 tbsp onion finely diced
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar optional

Method
 

  1. Finely chop the cooked ham or pulse in a food processor for a finer texture.
  2. Combine ham, celery, and onion in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, relish, vinegar, and pepper.
  4. Pour dressing over ham mixture and stir until fully combined.
  5. Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  6. Serve on bread, crackers, or lettuce cups as desired.
