Crust
  • 3 cups hash browns thawed
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Filling
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.25 cup chives chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare crust mixture.
  2. Press hash browns into pie dish and bake until crispy.
  3. Cook bacon until crispy and crumble.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, cream, and seasonings.
  5. Add cheese, bacon, and chives to mixture.
  6. Pour filling into crust and bake until set.

Notes

Drain hash browns well for a crispy crust.
