Method
- Rinse and prepare cranberries and strawberries.
- Combine fruit, sugar, orange juice, water, lemon juice, and spices in a pot.
- Heat until cranberries burst and strawberries soften.
- Mash fruit to desired consistency.
- Simmer 15–25 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in orange zest and remove from heat.
- Cool 10 minutes and transfer to jars.
- Refrigerate, freeze, or process jars for canning.
Notes
Jam thickens more as it cools. Adjust sugar to taste for sweeter or more tart jam.
