Ingredients
  

  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 cup whole milk or oat/almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons pistachio syrup homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pistachios for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar optional, for sweetness
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • pinch sea salt to balance sweetness

Method
 

  1. Brew two shots of espresso or prepare strong coffee.
  2. Warm milk in a saucepan until steaming, then froth until foamy.
  3. Stir pistachio syrup and brown sugar (if using) into espresso.
  4. Pour steamed milk into espresso mixture, then spoon froth on top.
  5. Garnish with crushed pistachios, whipped cream, and a pinch of sea salt. Serve immediately.

Notes

Make your own pistachio syrup for a richer, authentic flavor. For an iced version, pour espresso, syrup, and cold milk over ice.
