Method
- Combine warm milk, yeast, and a little sugar in a bowl. Let sit until foamy.
- Mix in butter, eggs, sugar, and salt. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead dough until smooth and elastic, then let rise until doubled in size.
- Roll dough into a rectangle and spread with softened butter.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly over dough and top with chopped strawberries.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into 12 rolls.
- Arrange rolls in greased baking dish and allow to rise again until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat glaze ingredients until smooth and creamy.
- Spread glaze over warm rolls and serve fresh.
Notes
Pat strawberries dry before using to prevent excess moisture in the rolls.
