Method
- Bring water to a gentle simmer in a small saucepan.
- Add cinnamon stick and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Add tea leaves or tea bags and steep for 3–5 minutes.
- Strain out tea leaves and cinnamon.
- Stir in milk and heat gently without boiling.
- Add sweetener and vanilla extract, stirring well.
- Pour into cups and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust sweetness and milk ratio to taste. Can be served iced.
