Main
  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for greasing pan
Glaze
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.5 tsp paprika optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • lemon slices for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with foil. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and paprika.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper. Place skin-side down on baking sheet.
  4. Pour the glaze evenly over salmon and brush to coat.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Optional: broil for 2 minutes to caramelize glaze. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

Use wild-caught salmon for the best flavor and nutrition. Add red pepper flakes for heat or sesame oil for an Asian twist.
