- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add honey, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe bananas with dark spots. You can add walnuts, pecans, or chocolate chips for extra texture and flavor.
