Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water hot
  • 2 English breakfast tea bags
  • 0.5 cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 1-2 tsp sweetener to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract optional

Equipment

  • Kettle
  • Heatproof cup
  • Tall glass
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Steep tea bags in hot water for 4–5 minutes to make a strong brew.
  2. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool slightly.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour cooled tea over the ice.
  5. Add milk and sweetener to taste.
  6. Stir gently, add vanilla if using, and serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust tea strength and milk ratio to taste.
