Ingredients
  

Steel-Cut Oats
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup milk or almond milk
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon optional
  • honey or maple syrup for serving
  • fruit or nuts for topping

Method
 

  1. Add oats, water, milk, salt, and cinnamon to the Instant Pot and stir gently.
  2. Seal and cook on High Pressure for 4 minutes.
  3. Allow natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
  4. Stir oats to thicken, then serve with desired toppings.

Notes

For thicker oats, reduce liquid to 3.5 cups. Stir well after cooking for best texture.
