Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 0.5 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 onion finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ranch seasoning mix
  • salt and pepper to taste
Assembly
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 24 mini phyllo shells or mini biscuit cups
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or sour cream optional
  • green onions or parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange mini shells on a baking sheet.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic powder, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in bacon.
  4. Combine with cheeses and optional mayo or sour cream in a bowl.
  5. Fill each shell with mixture and top with extra cheese.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with green onions or parsley. Serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

To make ahead, prepare the filling a day early and bake before serving. Freezes well for up to 1 month.
