- Cook bow tie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Chop vegetables and basil while pasta cools.
- Combine pasta, vegetables, mozzarella, olives, and parmesan in a large bowl.
- Add Italian dressing, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toss gently until evenly coated.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Toss again, garnish with basil or parmesan, and serve.
Notes
For best flavor, chill at least 30 minutes before serving and add extra dressing if needed.
