- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Add lemon zest and juice, stir gently.
- Add pasta and toss with sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- Stir in Parmesan and toss until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Garnish with parsley and extra lemon zest before serving.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add a splash of cream or more butter before serving.
