Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg large
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
Filling
  • 1 lb ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt mozzarella and cream cheese together until smooth.
  3. Stir in almond flour, baking powder, and egg to form a dough.
  4. Roll the dough between parchment into a rectangle.
  5. Sauté onions and peppers in olive oil until soft, then add steak and cook until browned.
  6. Layer the filling and provolone cheese on dough, roll tightly.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Slice and serve warm, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Best served fresh from the oven. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat before serving.
