Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Earl Grey tea leaves finely ground
  • 1 tsp culinary lavender finely ground
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground Earl Grey tea, and lavender.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until dough forms.
  5. Add milk or cream as needed for smooth dough consistency.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake 11–13 minutes until edges are set. Cool completely on wire racks.

Notes

Use culinary lavender only and avoid overbaking for best texture.
