Ingredients
  

Gingerbread Syrup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
Coffee Assembly
  • 1.5 cups brewed coffee hot
  • 0.75 cup milk frothed
  • whipped cream for topping

  • Coffee maker or espresso machine
  • Milk frother
  • Glass mugs

Method
 

  1. Brew coffee and keep hot.
  2. Heat gingerbread syrup ingredients in a saucepan until dissolved.
  3. Pour syrup into glass mugs.
  4. Slowly layer hot coffee over syrup.
  5. Top with frothed milk and whipped cream.

Notes

Use clear glass mugs for best visual layers.
