Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mint chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chopped into chunks
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Stir in semisweet chocolate chips, mint chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, and crushed peppermint.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden, centers soft.
  9. Cool 5 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

Freeze dough for up to 2 months. For extra festive look, press more chips and peppermint on top before baking.
