Bread Boats
  • 2 French baguettes
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Lobster Filling
  • 1.5 cups lobster meat cooked and chopped
  • 0.33 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest
  • 0.25 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 green onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives optional
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella or Gruyère cheese for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice baguettes lengthwise and hollow out the centers to form shallow boats.
  3. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper; brush over bread.
  4. Toast for 8–10 minutes until golden.
  5. Combine lobster, mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon, lemon juice, zest, paprika, cheeses, and onions in a bowl.
  6. Fill toasted bread boats with mixture and top with extra cheese.
  7. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool briefly, slice, and serve garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.

Notes

Serve immediately while warm. For best flavor, use fresh lobster tail meat and squeeze fresh lemon before serving.
