- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line baking pan.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in mashed bananas, then alternate dry ingredients with sour cream.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth top.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Frost cooled cake, slice, and serve.
Notes
For best flavor, use very ripe bananas with dark peels.
