Ingredients
  

Cream Layer
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese room temperature
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 2 egg yolks
Assembly
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 24-30 ladyfingers
  • 2 tbsp honey optional

Method
 

  1. Whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and let cool.
  2. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Mix mascarpone, sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture gently.
  5. Dip ladyfingers quickly into matcha mixture.
  6. Layer dipped ladyfingers and cream mixture in a dish.
  7. Repeat layers and smooth the top.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality matcha for best flavor and color. Chill overnight for optimal texture.
