Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp dried lavender crushed
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, matcha, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and lavender.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Combine dry and wet ingredients to form dough.
  6. Scoop and flatten dough on baking sheets.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes and cool on wire rack.

Use culinary lavender sparingly to avoid overpowering flavor.
