Method
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Place brisket in a roasting pan.
- Mix all dry rub ingredients and rub generously over brisket.
- Add beef broth to the pan and cover tightly with foil.
- Roast in the oven for 4–5 hours until brisket is fork-tender.
- Remove foil and let brisket rest for 20–30 minutes.
- Slice against the grain and serve with pan juices or BBQ sauce.
Notes
Brisket can be made ahead and reheated slowly. For extra flavor, marinate overnight in the dry rub.
