- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Stir in taco seasoning and salsa. Simmer until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese.
- Place filling in the center of wonton wrappers, brush edges with egg, and seal.
- Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes or fry until golden and crispy.
Notes
Can be baked, fried, or air-fried. Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
