Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 small bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.5 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican-blend cheese
Assembly
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and salsa. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese.
  5. Place filling in the center of wonton wrappers, brush edges with egg, and seal.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes or fry until golden and crispy.

Notes

Can be baked, fried, or air-fried. Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
