- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan.
- Cream butter and sugar, then mix in vanilla, flour, and salt.
- Press dough into pan and bake 18–20 minutes.
- Cook butter, sugar, and condensed milk into caramel.
- Pour caramel over cooled base and let set.
- Melt chocolate and spread over caramel.
- Sprinkle sea salt and allow to set before slicing.
