Ingredients
  

Cookie Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups M&M candies

Equipment

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Mix melted butter with sugars until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
  5. Stir in M&M candies and spread dough into pan.
  6. Bake 22–26 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

Do not overbake for best chewy texture.
