Method
- Prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water, then simmering and adding lemon juice and orange blossom water. Cool completely.
- Mix knafeh dough with melted butter and sugar.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy. Cool.
- Whip cream, then mix with mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Layer knafeh, cream, and strawberries in cups.
- Repeat layers and top with syrup and pistachios.
- Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best texture, add syrup just before serving to keep the knafeh crispy.
