Ingredients
  

Waffle Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1.75 cups milk
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Strawberry Filling
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
Whipped Cream Layer
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.33 cup powdered sugar
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Prepare strawberries by mixing sliced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let rest for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Cook batter in a preheated waffle iron until golden and crisp.
  6. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  7. Layer waffles, whipped cream, and strawberries to build a tall stack.
  8. Top with extra cream, strawberries, and powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Assemble just before serving to maintain waffle crispness.
