Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 24 cookies Oreo cookies finely crushed
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
Topping
  • 6 cookies Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1 tsp crushed peppermint candy

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Springform pan
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Mix crushed Oreos with melted butter and press into pan. Chill 15–20 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and peppermint extract until smooth.
  3. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.
  4. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture gently.
  5. Spread filling over chilled crust and smooth the top. Chill 2–3 hours.
  6. Sprinkle crushed Oreos and peppermint on top before serving.
  7. Slice and serve, storing leftovers in airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

For extra chocolate flavor, drizzle melted chocolate on top. Individual servings can be made in cups.
